More than a decade ago, cars made by Chinese manufacturers were a farce compared to vehicles made by experienced manufacturers.
We used to laugh at their poor quality, performance and safety. But, that was then and we all know, they have changed and become very advanced.
However, to prove how far the Chinese automotive industry has grown, they also presented the Hongqi E-HS9.
This is a luxury SUV under the auspices of the FAW Group. Then, all the ridicule and laughter disappeared after seeing this car.
Of course, the appearance may not be to everyone's taste, but at least it can't be accused of copying other vehicle designs.
The assumption arises because until now there are still very many cars made in China that copy the models of European manufacturers.
However, the Hongqi E-HS9 looks unique on the outside, while on the inside YouTuber Kris Rifa thinks it's as luxurious as a premium model from an established automaker.
At least, this refers to his brief review with one of the four Hongqi E-HS9s currently in Europe coming to Norway.
This Hongqi E-HS9 is also a very large car or the size of a BMW X7. This means very wide rear legroom.
Likewise, proportional space for the third row seats because this car is available in six or seven seats.
Interior quality is excellent, as per this video, so the vehicle manages to showcase a seemingly premium interior.
Regarding the specifications, there will be two versions with two battery packs. The former has a usable battery capacity of 76.5 kWh and produces 436 horsepower.
While the 90 kWh version produces 551 horsepower and can run up to 100 km / h in just 4.9 seconds.
The Hongqi E-HS9 is also equipped with a fast charging feature. Position 10 to 80 percent in 35 minutes.
As soon as the Hongqi E-HS9 moves, the impression of luxury will instantly be confirmed.
The driving experience is great. This is thanks to the long wheelbase and fully-spec air suspension.
Kris Rifa was present at the test drive with Bjorn Nyland and they both produced a video about the vehicle.
